A rare antique French shell-form majolica teapot by Keller & Guérin, Lunéville, beautifully modelled with a scallop shell body, coral inspired handle feet, and delicate shell finial.
Finished in a softly graduated blush pink and ivory glazes, the teapot is richly textured throughout, capturing the playful naturalism that made French majolica of this period so distinctive.
Stamped to the underside.
