A vintage Murano wall sconce made in Italy in the 1990s, formed from layered glass with a softly diffused set over clear glass embedded with irregular fragments in the avventurina style, a technique associated with Murano glassmaking where small inclusions are suspended within the glass to create depth and sparkle.
The contrast between the smooth satin glass and the textured backing gives the piece movement while the simple curved form keeps it clean and architectural.
A lovely accent for a hallway, bedside or bathroom.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, requires installation by a qualified electrician. Takes a regular edison E27 or E26 screw bulbs and are suitable for all voltage systems.
