A beautifully weighted mid-century cast glass ashtray, formed in thick clear glass with softly irregular edges and a tactile ice-like texture. 

The square form features subtle rests at the rim with internal bubbles and surface variations that speak to its hand-cast production. 

Ashtrays of this style were widely produced across Europe duriong the mid-20th century, reflecting the era's interest in functional objects rendered sculptural through material and form. Comparable examples can be found among British and Scandinavian glassmakers of the period, known for their experimentation with textured and architectural glass.
