Italian postmodern Marble & Glass Coffee Table 

c.1980s 

A striking Italian coffee table from the late 20th century, crafted with bold geometric forms in contrasting marbles. The base combines Rosso Verona marble, known for its rich red tone and dramatic white veining, with white Carrara marble cut into angular architectural shapes. 

A thick beveled glass top rests above, highlighting the sculptural interplay of colour, form and material. 

This piece reflects the postmodern Italian design movement of the 1970s - 80s, where furniture became both functional and sculptural, with an emphasis on statement materials. 

Dimensions: 130L x 80W x 42H (cm) 

Condition: Consistent with age, good overall condition, marble is ins excellent condition. Surface scratches to the glass, one small chip on underside of glass.
