A refined Scandinavian floor lamp from the Gino series designed by Bjarne Frost and Ole Jespersen for Solar Compagni.
The design is characterised by its elegant restraint, three slender chrome supports rise from a geometric base, supporting a wide saucer shaped shade that appears to float effortlessly above the structure.
The lighting diffuser casts a warm, even light, while the contrast between polished chrome and the architectural base gives the piece a quietly graphic presence. True to Scandinavian modernism, the form is minimal yet considered.
