A beautifully crafted French oak chair with handwoven rush seat and back, designed in the manner of Charlotte Perriand.
Rounded legs, softened edges and restrained proportions reflect the rustic modernism synonymous with French design of the mid-twentieth century.
The warm oak has developed a patina over time, while the handwoven rush introduces texture and warmth, making the chair equally at home around a dining table, beside a desk or as an occasional accent.

Condition: Wonderful vintage condition with beautifully preserved rush. Wear to one side of chair as shown in pics. all marks consistent with age.
